Music Staff

Initiated in April 2009 First Friday. This monthly event is intended to spotlight local and regional musical talent. Admission to all participating venues is free and open to the public until 9:00 pm when some locations may have cover charges. We encourage you to take advantage of this monthly opportunity to support Wichita’s growing fund of musical talent. Additional information may be found at the First Friday website.

8:00 pm Behind the Solution, Barefoot in November (multi-genre show) @ Mead’s Corner
8:00 pm Mark Walker (folk/experimental) @ Riverside Perk
8:00 pm Afterparty (rock) @ Kellys Irish Pub
8:30 pm Stars Go Cold, Glass Envelope, Colton & Zara (post punk/folk) @ Frida’s
9:00 pm Spirit of the Stairs, Vehicles, ENDS. (progressive rock/indi) @ Rock Island Live
